1. Add 30 ml oil to a pan, sautee 50 grams of ground beef or pork, then add 1 packet of Haidilao mapo tofu sauce. Simmer for 30 seconds.
2. Add 200-300 ml of hot water, then add 500 grams of sliced tofu. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
3. Add scallions and spring onions to taste. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tsp cornstarch with 2 tsp water in a separate container (this is called a slurry). Once dissolved and well incorporated, add the slurry to your sauce. mix well for 10 seconds then turn off the heat once the sauce thickens.
